Nikola Spasic was born in Surdulica, in a small city at south of Serbia on February 13, 1997, as the first child of his beloved parents, father Nebojsa and mother Lidija.
His talent for music was discovered by his parents who were later on his biggest support.
As seven years old boy he started to play piano, but after a while, because of his great wish to play an accordion, he continued with his musical education with accordion as a most favorite instrument and there, his music story begins.
He finished primary and secondary music school “Stevan Mokranjac” in Vranje, Serbia. During this education, besides he gained professional knowledge and achieved great skills on the instrument, Nikola also went to many competitions on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Austria and Netherlands where he made a lot of success.
Here are mentioned just his most successful and favorite competitions and festivals in which he participated:
-Coupe mondiale in Salzburg, Austria -2014
-Days of accordion in Smederevo, Serbia, winner of the competition in 2015
-Akordeon art in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, winner of the competition in 2014 and 2016
-NOVAM in Amstelveen, Netherlands, winner of the competition in 2016 and 2018.
After he finished high school, he continued his education at ArtEZ conservatorium in Zwolle, Netherlands.
ArtEZ conservatorium have granted him two scholarships thanks to his talent.
Next to the studies, he performs on many events and concerts in Netherlands as a soloist and with his trio Porteño- Accordion (Bayan) / Violin & Cello
Next to the classical music, his passion is also traditional folk music from Balkan.
Nikola is a positive, charismatic, man who loves the stage performance and someone for whom music does not represent just the notes on the paper.
His motto is:
